Forest Retreat Villas is a small complex of 3 private 5-star villas in Bușteni, at an altitude of 900 m, on the edge of the forest and overlooking the Bucegi Mountains. Each villa is rented in its entirety, so for the length of your stay the villa is yours alone. Each of the three villas has its own jacuzzi. Forest Retreat Villas is currently the only 5-star rated accommodation in Bușteni.

Couples who want a few days just for the two of them, families who want to spend time together, and groups of friends or teams who want to stay under one roof. What they have in common is that they come for the quiet, the forest and a villa that truly feels like their own.

Because peace and quiet don’t require a flight. About 130 km from Bucharest, between 1 hour 45 minutes and 2 hours by car, you step into a different rhythm: forest, mountains, fresh air and a villa waiting for you, ready. No airport, no weighed luggage, no hours lost in transit.

It depends on who you are coming with. Villa BRUNO is for 2 guests (maximum 4: 2 adults + 2 children), with a private outdoor jacuzzi and a Himalayan salt wall. Villa Elena welcomes up to 6 guests in 3 en-suite bedrooms, with an indoor jacuzzi in the winter garden and an infrared sauna. Villa IRIS welcomes up to 12 guests in 6 en-suite bedrooms, with an outdoor jacuzzi, a sauna on every floor, a fitness room and karaoke. If you are a larger group, you can book the Entire Complex: 3 villas, 10 bedrooms, up to 20 guests.

The villa, its terrace and its jacuzzi are yours alone for the entire stay, and so is the sauna in the villas that have one. The garden, the outdoor pool and the salt room are shared by the three villas. Because Forest Retreat Villas is a small complex, you share them only with the guests of the other villas, if they are occupied. If you book the Entire Complex, everything stays exclusively for your group.

Halotherapy means breathing air enriched with fine particles of Himalayan salt, valued for its effect on breathing, sleep and overall well-being. Chromotherapy uses coloured light for relaxation. Both take place in the complex’s salt room, shared by the three villas.

Yes. A heated outdoor pool with counter-current swimming, shared by the three villas. It is seasonal and usually open from May until early October, depending on the weather. The water is heated by a heat pump, and its quality is monitored automatically.

It depends on the villa you are staying in. At Villa Elena, rain becomes a show: from the winter garden, with floor-to-ceiling glass walls, you watch the forest from the indoor jacuzzi. At Villa IRIS you have generous spaces, karaoke, Netflix, HBO and Disney+, for an afternoon when you don’t need to be anywhere. At Villa BRUNO, rain is the perfect excuse not to get out of bed. And the complex’s salt room awaits you in any weather.

The forest and the Bucegi Mountains are just steps away. Trails to Babele, the Sphinx and the Caraiman Cross, forest walks, ATV rides, mountain biking. We are happy to give you recommendations. And if you would rather do nothing but sit on the terrace, that is a very good plan too.

Yes. Each villa has a desk area, high-speed internet and spaces where you can work in peace. Video calls run smoothly. And when you close the laptop, the jacuzzi and the forest are just steps away.

A booking is confirmed on the basis of a proforma invoice and a 50% deposit.

We recommend 2 nights, but we also accept a single night. At Christmas and New Year’s Eve, the minimum stay is 3 nights.

Yes, and it is one of the loveliest gestures. Tell us the occasion and what you want your partner to feel on arrival, and we will take care of the rest: flowers, decorations, a bottle of prosecco on arrival, a private dinner. Discreet, exactly as it should be.

Yes. Tell us what you would like, flowers, cake, decorations, a private dinner, surprises on arrival, and we will handle the organisation from start to finish. You simply arrive, and we make sure the moment looks just as you imagined it.

The rate is for the entire villa, not per person. There are three options: Forest Escape (accommodation and private parking), Forest Relax (plus the wellness facilities) and Forest Experience (plus breakfast served at the villa). For a stay of at least 2 nights, rates start at 998 RON per night for Villa BRUNO, 1,998 RON for Villa Elena and 4,598 RON for Villa IRIS.

You can choose an option with or without breakfast. If you choose breakfast, we prepare it and bring it to your villa at a time agreed together. If you prefer to look after yourselves, each villa has its own fully equipped kitchen.

Check-in from 15:00, check-out by 11:00. If you need some flexibility, just ask and we will do our best to accommodate you, subject to availability.

Because you are not paying for a room, but for an entire villa, yours alone for the length of your stay, with its own jacuzzi and its own spaces. The complex has only three villas, so there are no crowded hallways or corridor neighbours. The difference is not between “cheap” and “expensive”, but between a hotel room and a place that, for a few days, becomes your own.

Yes, Bușteni and the Prahova Valley have good options, and we are happy to give you recommendations. If you would rather not leave the villa, the area is covered by Glovo delivery. And if you have chosen the option with breakfast, we bring it to your villa in the morning.

Yes. Tell us once what you would like and we take care of it: breakfast at the villa, a private dinner, massage, recommendations and bookings in the area.

We are just a message or a phone call away, without ever being intrusive. Your privacy matters greatly to us: we do not enter the villa during your stay unless we have agreed on it together, and cleaning is done only if you request it.

Yes, secure private parking and two charging stations for electric cars.

Yes. The complex has CCTV cameras placed only outdoors, for perimeter security. There are no cameras whatsoever inside the villas.

Yes, Bolt and taxis are available in the area, for the evenings when you want to go out without worrying about driving.

Out of respect for all our guests and for the standard of hygiene we maintain, we do not accept pets.

Families with children are welcome. Villa Elena and Villa IRIS are the best suited for family stays, thanks to their larger number of bedrooms and generous spaces. Depending on the number and ages of the children, we will help you choose the right villa and layout.

Bank card and bank transfer. A booking is confirmed on the basis of a proforma invoice and a deposit of 50% of the value of the stay.

If something comes up and you can no longer make it, the deposit is not lost: you can use it for another period, which we agree on together.
