We are a complex of three villas on the edge of the forest in Bușteni, at 900 metres above sea level, which you can book in its entirety, just for your group – with the Bucegi Mountains straight ahead from the garden, the living room and even some of the bedrooms. Whether you are planning a yoga retreat, a corporate retreat, a personal development workshop or a team offsite, you will find the complete setting here: peace and quiet, the energy of the mountains and the forest, plus the comfort of luxury facilities. We designed this place the way we would have liked to be welcomed ourselves – with attention to detail and with time for people. For a facilitator, the place matters as much as the programme. You need peace and quiet, nature and spaces where the group can practise without interruption. On the edge of the forest, in the clean mountain air, the morning can begin with a session outdoors and the day can close with a relaxation practice in the halotherapy salt room. The heated pool and hot tub naturally round off any wellness, mindfulness or yoga retreat.

A good retreat needs different places for different moments: a space where the group works, one where it relaxes and one where it rests. At Forest Retreat Luxury Villas you have all three – both indoors and outdoors.

Shared spaces for the programme and for relaxing

For working sessions, workshops or practice, the complex comfortably hosts up to 30-35 participants – including people who are not staying overnight but join just for the day’s programme. The large dining room and the bright conservatories work naturally as meeting rooms: round tables, sessions in a circle, presentations – the space adapts to the format, not the other way round. Outside, the garden with its direct view of the Bucegi Mountains and the forest on the edge of the complex become open-air classrooms in their own right.

We don’t have a conference room with a fixed projector – we have something more valuable: spaces where people relax enough to be truly present. If you need specific equipment (projector, screen, flipchart), let us know in advance and we will sort it out together.

Every day begins with breakfast, included and prepared for the group, and for the rest of your meals we arrange catering to suit your schedule and preferences.

Accommodation: 10 bedrooms, easy to configure

The 10 bedrooms are split into 5 twin rooms (with separate beds) and 5 double rooms, which makes arranging any group simple – whether it is colleagues who need separate beds or couples. In total, the complex comfortably sleeps up to 20 people, while daytime sessions can host up to 30-35 participants.

5. During your stay we are close by – discreet, but just a step away if anything comes up.

Location and getting here

Forest Retreat Villas is in Bușteni, at the foot of the Bucegi Mountains, about 130 km from Bucharest – between 1h45 and 2 hours by car – so it is easy to reach for participants from Bucharest and the whole of southern Romania. You are around 10 minutes from Sinaia and Peleș Castle, close to Azuga, Predeal and the whole Prahova Valley, and the Caraiman Cross is visible straight from the garden. Bușteni railway station is just 3 km away (about 6 minutes by car), a real advantage for groups travelling by train.

It strikes that rare balance between seclusion and accessibility: secluded enough to switch off completely, close enough to arrive without effort. The surroundings complement any retreat – mountain trails in the Bucegi, nature and quiet, a few steps from the complex, in every season: hiking in summer, snowy stillness and nearby ski slopes in winter.
