If it rains

Peleș, Pelișor, Cantacuzino Castle and Sinaia Monastery are all visited indoors. In the evening, the salt room and the jacuzzi at the villas.

If the sky is clear

Take the cable car up to Babele and the Sphinx: the view from the plateau is at its finest in the morning, before the clouds roll in.

With children

The cable car, Cantacuzino Castle and the walk to Urlătoarea Waterfall are well suited to little ones too.

For hikers

Jepii Mici to the Heroes’ Cross, Omu Peak or Urlătoarea Waterfall – Babele, all starting from Bușteni.

How long is the drive from the villas to Peleș Castle?+
About 15 minutes by car (around 8 km to Sinaia), depending on traffic. On busy weekends the DN1 can take longer.

Sinaia Town Hospital is around 10 km away (about 15 minutes), and the Azuga Orthopaedics and Traumatology Hospital around 6 km. In Bușteni, 2 km away, there is the Physical Medicine, Rehabilitation and Balneology Unit. For any emergency, call 112.

Yes. The nearest pharmacy is about 2 km away, and there are several more in the centre of Bușteni, 5 minutes by car.
Can we reach Babele and the Sphinx without hiking up?+
Yes. The Bușteni – Babele cable car departs around 10 minutes from the villas and climbs to just by the Babele chalet, at over 2,000 m. From there, the Sphinx is a few minutes’ walk across the plateau.
What can we visit when it rains?+
Peleș Castle, Pelișor Castle, Cantacuzino Castle and Sinaia Monastery can all be visited indoors. Back at the villas, the salt room, the jacuzzi and the sauna await you.
